This event is sanctioned by the Northern California Taekwondo Association whose president is Grandmaster Ed Austin and by the League of Professional Taekwondo Referees which is guided by Grandmaster Martin Marcus.

We will be awarding customized medals for the event and the first 100 sign-ups will receive a double-walled metal water bottle with the tournament logo. Participating schools will receive a trophy and there will be a best-school trophy awarded at the end of the event.

Competitors can compete in Taegeuk, Pal Gwe, ITF, or Tang Soo Do styles.  The League of Professional Taekwongo Referees is knowledgeable in all these styles.

Black belt kyorugi will use the Daedo electronic system. Color belt kyorugi will utilize the MatDaddy electronic system. Points accumulated in this event will count toward the 2024 NCTA Championship.

If you would like to provide a demonstration, this can be done during lunch time--please let me know and we will schedule you in. We may have a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or a Hapkido demonstration and we are open to whatever martial arts skills you want to showcase.

The Taekwondo Silverbacks (ages 18 and above) will have their own ring beginning at 7:30am for both poomsae and kyorugi. Please contact Grandmaster Marcus or me for further details. Separate medals will be awarded for these events.

We are capping the number of competitors at 200 in order to ensure an orderly and organized event. Please do not wait until the last minute to sign up!

Spectator fee is $5.  There is no charge for coaches or instructors but they must register, either in advance or at the tournament.  No one will be allowed in the competition area without a badge.
